Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Watkinsville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,736-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Current design includes sixteen (16) new lighted tennis courts, a parking lot expansion and the construction of a small building to house restrooms, storage, and an oUice space. The selected firm will be tasked with analyzing and value engineering that design with the goal of keeping total cost within a budget of five million dollars ($5,000,000). VE Design must retain all sixteen (16) new tennis courts and a restroom facility. The location for this project is Oconee Veterans Park located at 3500A Hog Mountain Road Watkinsville, Georgia 30677. Reference Number 0000414779 Oconee County is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced design/build firms interested in providing design analyzation, value engineering and construction of a tennis court expansion at Oconee Veterans Park (OVP) located at 3500A Hog Mountain Road Watkinsville, Georgia 30677. Please see Section II of the bid documents for full Scope of Services. At the time and date above, sealed bids will be publicly opened and recorded at the Oconee County Administrative Building North High Shoals conference room located at 7635 Macon Highway Watkinsville, GA 30677. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Each sealed envelope must be marked on the outside as "Design/Build Services - OVP Tennis Court Expansion RFP #26-02-010" and should include the respondent's name and address. The OCBOC reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and/or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part if it is determined that cancellation and/or rejections are advantageous to the County. RFP's are legal and binding upon the Respondent when submitted. It will also be the responsibility of each Respondent to obtain any addenda issued from the Procurement OUicer. The written RFP documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties.
