Demolition for a municipal facility in Lansing, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the 17130 Torrence Avenue Building Demolition. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Village of Lansing, attention Village Clerk, with the name and address of the bidder and the project name on the envelope. Proposals must use forms provided by the Engineer. Bid Documents can be obtained electronically from the Engineer after review of prequalification information. A certified check, bank draft, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least ten percent (10%) of the bid must accompany each proposal, guaranteeing contract entry and security of performance if accepted. A performance bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount is required from the successful bidder. The contractor must not start work before the Village has all required permits. The contractor must pay at least the prevailing wage rates as established by the Illinois Department of Labor and comply with all applicable regulations. Prequalifications must be submitted to the Engineer before contract documents are issued. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, postpone the opening, or re-advertise if deemed in its best interests.
