Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tiverton, Rhode Island. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Mount Hope Bay Greenway (MHBG) is a two and a half mile segment of a six mile shared use trail along the eastern shoreline of Mount Hope Bay within the unused railway ROW starting at the Sakonnet River Bridge in Tiverton RI and extending to the South Coast Rail commuter station in Fall River, MA. The construction is planned to be a coordinated effort between RIDOT to the Stateline and MassDOT to the new commuter rail station. The MHBG will connect Tiverton directly to Fall River bus service, a ferry line, and commuter rail service, making it not only a topnotch safe greenspace recreation trail, but also improve coastal access and fundamentally change the transportation options for Tiverton residents for access to job opportunities in a cost effective manner. County : Tiverton As of March 03, 2026, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2029. RIDOT- Mount Hope Bay Greenway *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP).
