A. The work to be performed under this contract consists of providing the labor, equipment, materials, methods, means, safety programs and devices, and testing to construct the CDBG PY'25 - Rehabilitation of the Collinsville Road Manholes and 52nd Street Lift Station as shown on the Contract Documents prepared by Thouvenot, Wade & Moerchen, Inc. B. The work consists of the following: 1. Rehabilitation existing lift station wet wells and manholes with chemical resistant concrete coating. 2. The above general outline of principal work tasks does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish the required materials, equipment, labor, safety programs, and means as shown or required by the Contract Documents. The Project consists of lining manholes and lift station wet wells. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Awarded contractor is required to utilize minority business enterprises in the minimum amount of 15% of the total grant amount. Sealed bids are invited from qualified contractors for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, means, and performing all work for the "Fairmont City CDBG PY'25 - Rehabilitation of the Collinsville Road Manholes and 52nd Street Lift Station." The procurement is subject to regulations in the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). The project is funded by HUD through the CDBG Program at St. Clair County IGD. Awarded contractors are required to utilize minority business enterprises for a minimum of 15% of the total grant amount.
