Site work and new construction of a military facility in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a four-story above grade, 192-bed military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
This project will include, but is not limited to, constructing a four-story, 192-person dormitory building, with pile-supported reinforced concrete foundation and floor slabs, insulated exterior masonry walls, standing seam metal roof, utilities, communication support, fire detection/protection, pavements, landscaping, site demolition and improvements, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, and all necessary support for a complete and usable facility. Areas included will be kitchen, dining, laundry, storage, theater, mail center, and lounge. In addition, a basketball court, charcoal barbeque and paver patio shall be constructed as exterior recreation support facilities. Site work will include modifying and providing additional parking not only for this dormitory, but also others located in the vicinity *This project is being bid by invitation only.
