Site work and paving for a civil project in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant is undergoing a critical infrastructure upgrade involving the replacement of an aging 500 mm diameter Process Water Drain (PWD) pipe. The existing carbon steel pipe, running through an operational gallery, has reached the end of its service life and shows signs of corrosion, leaks, and structural fatigue. Additionally, the Gravity Thickener overflow carbon steel piping (TOF) for three thickeners also requires replacement due to its service life ending. The TOF piping is underground and will necessitate soil excavation and trenching. After completing the TOF piping replacement, the entire area around the five gravity thickeners will be paved with asphalt as part of this contract.
