***As of April 29th, 2026*** The awarded bidders are as follows: Project A (Mahanoy City 40 N Main Street) - Awarded to Affordable Construction and Demo LLC in the amount of $37,000.00 Project B (Minersville 326-328 Pheasant Street) - Awarded to Affordable Construction and Demo LLC in the amount of $24,000.00 Project C (Pottsville 800 Mahantongo Street) - Awarded to Brdaric Excavating Inc in the amount of $93,700.00 Sealed bids are invited for demolition projects at the following locations: 40 N. Main Street in Mahanoy City, 326-328 Pleasant Street in Minersville, and 800, 802 & 804 Mahantongo Street in Pottsville. Each project must have an individual bid amount entered on the appropriate line of the bid form, and no composite bids will be accepted. Separate contracts will be awarded for each project. Prospective bidders may submit bids for any or all projects, with each bid to be submitted independently. The original and two copies of the bid form must be submitted in one sealed envelope, with the name of the individual or firm indicated on the exterior. The total amount of the bid for each project must appear as a separate line item on the bid form. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to at least ten percent of the total bid amount. Money orders and personal checks are not acceptable. Certified checks should be made payable to County of Schuylkill, and bid bonds must name the County as obligee. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on any single bid exceeding $25,000. Contract documents include requirements regarding prevailing wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination, and minority and women business participation. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Bids may be held for up to forty-five days for review and qualification assessment prior to contract award.
