Site work for a water / sewer project in Greensboro, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves providing labor, equipment, and material for the Proposed Greensboro Sewer Infrastructure Improvements Project Contract A3, known as the Greensboro Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project Phase II - Creek Crossing Repair & Point Repair, CWSRF Project No. CS010942-01. The principal items of work include: 1. Gravity Sewer Line Creek Crossing Point-Repair Site 1 (Furnish and Install); 2. Gravity Sewer Line Creek Crossing Point-Repair Site 2 (Furnish and Install); 3. Sloped Embankment Restoration (Furnish and Install). Bids must be submitted according to specifications and contract documents. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsible, and responsive bidder. Time is of the essence with a contract time of 30 consecutive calendar days, and liquidated damages will be assessed if contract time is exceeded. Extensions of time must be approved prior to contract completion. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and accept any bid considered advantageous. All applicable federal guidelines must be met as funding is provided through the Clean Water State Revolving Funds (CWSRF). There will be no pre-bid meeting. Doc Notes: No refunds will be made except to Prime Contractor Bidders, which shall be refunded for one bid set. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this Project.
