Renovation of a transportation facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The Central New York Regional Transportation Authority (CNYRTA or Authority) is requesting bids from professional organizations to provide turnkey replacements of two (2) existing boilers. The Central New York Regional Transportation Authority (CNYRTA) is soliciting competitive bids for the turnkey replacement of two (2) existing boilers located at its RTC facility - 1 Walsh Circle, Syracuse, NY, 13208. The project includes the removal and disposal of existing boilers and piping, and installation of new high-efficiency condensing boilers with all required piping, venting, controls, electrical, and plumbing connections. Specifications Removal and Installation Remove and legally dispose of two (2) existing boilers, venting, and near-boiler piping. Maintain service clearances, connect condensate drains, flush system, and pressure-test piping at 1.5 times operating pressure before insulation. d. The successful bidder must perform system water quality testing prior to startup and submit results to the CNYRTA for review, including pH, hardness, conductivity, and chloride levels. A factory-authorized representative must perform startup, combustion setup, and efficiency verification. The successful bidder must patch and fire seal all wall, floor, and roof penetrations created during removal or installation. g. Record flue gas readings and confirm lead/lag sequence and BMS communication. h. Submit final commissioning report and startup checklist. . Provide a minimum of two (2) hours of on-site training for CNYRTA maintenance staff Training must cover the operation, controls, and maintenance. Submit as-built drawings, warranties, and commissioning documentation. Firms wishing to submit Bids do so entirely at their own risk. There is not an express or implied obligation on the part of the CNYRTA to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing and submitting Bids in response to this request. The CNYRTA reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for any reason. Bids received within the confines of the due date will remain in effect sixty (60) days from the due date. All Bidders will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General's List of Ineligible Contractors. Each Bidder will be required to comply with all Equal Employment Opportunity Rules and Regulations. The CNYRTA hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE), minority/women owned business enterprise (M/WBE), and service disabled veteran owned business (SDVOB) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
