The work is generally for the rehabilitation of existing 6’’, 8’’, 10’’, and 12’’ sewer mains using the Pipe Bursting method as specified in the Contract Documents and all incidentals as listed or required to provide a complete project. The Owner will deliver to the Contractor "Work Orders" for rehabilitation of sewer main segments as the work is identified. The work orders will contain a list of the mains to be rehabilitated, drawings showing the location, size of the line to be rehabbed, depth of line at the upstream and downstream manholes, and any other additional information the Utility may have. The period of the contract will be until December 31, 2026 with an option to renew yearly for up to four years, if mutually agreed upon by the Owner and the Contractor. Instructions state that the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, and to accept the proposal which will best serve the interest of the Utility. Each Bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bidders must be licensed contractors qualified for doing business in the State of Arkansas and have successfully completed a minimum of 25,000 linear feet of Pipe Bursting Work. They must provide documentations verifying satisfactory completion of this work in order to be qualified to submit a bid. Documentation of completion of prior work along with Prequalification Documents must be submitted before 4:30pm March 20, 2026. Contractors who have performed similar work for the Owner will not be required to submit Prequalification Documents.
