*Per Jeanie Pender @ SUNY Upstate Medical University - Contracts & Campus Purchasing, project will rebid* Scope of work: Includes all necessary labor, material, and equipment for the installation of the HVAC scope of work complete. Work to include but not limited to the following: Pretesting, installation of volume dampers, installation of the Electric Duct Heating Coils, installation of the Radiant Ceiling Panels, installing all Diffusers, and Fire Caulking all wall penetrations. Demo of the existing duct will be performed by the Hospital Construction Crew. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. All potential bidders must attend a mandatory site visit and sign a 'Site Visit Form' to verify compliance. Failure to fulfill this requirement will disqualify the bid proposal. The selected contractor must cooperate with minority business enterprise participation policies and must comply with specified M/WBE and EEO goals. Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may only be obtained from Syracuse Blueprint for a deposit of $49.99, made payable to SUNY Upstate Medical University. Deposits for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses are waived. Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, restrictions are imposed on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process; failure to adhere may result in disqualification under the NYS Procurement Lobbying Act. All questions during the restricted period must be made formally to the designated staff.
