Locations- Berks Career and Technology West Campus 1057 County Welfare Road Leesport, PA 19533 Cold Zone Walk-in Refrigerator Model# ORS20M42T-B Serial # E0127631-011 Cold Zone Walk-In Freezer Model # ORE-G60L1-2T Serial # E0127631-071 General Overview The Berks Career and Technology Center (BCTC) intends to replace (1) Walk-in refrigerator with (3) evaporator coils and (1) Walk-in freezer with (3) evaporator coils at their West campus located at 1057 County Welfare Road, Leesport, PA. The Walk-Ins will be replaced in kind to match the existing functions. Under the scope of this RFP, the existing units will be removed and one (1) new refrigerator condenser and (3) evaporators and (1) new freezer condenser and (3) evaporators will be installed in each of the current locations. The contractor shall perform this work as a turn-key project. Attached to this Scope of Work is the performance schedule for each of the Walk-Ins. Detailed Scope of Work o Demolition Recover Refrigerant from each condenser Disconnect electric supply from all units (condensers and evaporators). Electric shall be maintained for reconnection to new units. Remove existing copper piping from line set. Disconnect any additional control components, thermostats, wiring, fire alarm cable, panels. o New Work o Provide new Rooftop condensers to match the current performance. Basis of Design Manufacturers -no preference o General: o New insulated copper line sets. Reconnect electrical power to the unit. Provide additional wiring and conduit for final connections as required.
