Replace fire hydrant assembly, riser , ell , gate valve , and valve box ; including tapping sleeve and connecting water lines as needed ; at the six locations described below . All replacement hydrants shall be of a common make and model and shall have 1 - 4.5 " NH connection and 2 - 2.5 " NH connections . Each new hydrant assembly shall have an isolation gate valve and be installed in a manner that allows for future service . No hydrant shall be installed outside of our utility easement or in a manner that impedes roadway or sidewalk travel . All work must be coordinated with the Town of Goodwell to minimize disruption of the Town's water supply. The Town will be responsible for draining, sanitizing, and refilling the water system asneeded. All water lines shall be sand bedded . All excavations shall be compacted .
