PROJECT NO. 3-33-0016-xxx-2026 (Construct) The project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 165,000 square feet of Taxiway 'A' South and 75,000 square feet of the adjacent holding bay, extending from the runway holding position to Taxiway 'Q'. The work includes the rehabilitation and widening of the taxiway shoulder pavement from 25 feet to 30 feet. Major components involve the removal of existing bituminous and concrete pavement and subbase to subgrade, potential soil management and dewatering, and the removal of existing signs, light bases, cable, and ducts. Existing LED taxiway lights will be relocated on new bases, new signs will be installed on new bases, and new cable and duct banks will be installed to accommodate the new geometry and shoulder widening. Drainage improvements include a new underdrain system, replacement of drainage pipe beneath Taxiway 'A' South, installation of a new catch basin and cleanouts, and installation of a stormwater treatment system. Additional elements include adjusting existing structures to grade and new pavement markings. The project is entirely within the secure area of the airport. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Worksheet.
