Sealed bids will be received for Ceiling and Light Replacement at Higgins High School, Project No. 2025-06. Bids must be delivered to the Facilities Department for the Jefferson Parish School Board, 4600 River Road, Administration Annex, 1st Floor, Marrero, LA 70072, by 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 9, 2026. Bid documents and specifications can be obtained from Williams & Williams Architecture, LLC, for $100.00 per hard copy set, or a non-refundable $25.00 for an electronic set on compact disk. The full deposit of one set will be refunded to each General Contractor under certain conditions; partial refunds for additional sets or sets to subcontractors and suppliers, with specific return requirements. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, telephone number, State License Number if the bid exceeds $50,000.00, and the statement 'Proposal for (project name and number).' Bidders may also submit electronically at www.centralbidding.com. Minority, female-owned, and local businesses are encouraged to participate. The project is classified as Commercial General Construction and a pre-bid meeting will be held at Higgins High School for prospective bidders to review the job scope and site conditions.
