Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Marrero, Louisiana. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The scope of work consists of providing professional engineering services for the design and construction of a new Estelle Drainage Pump Station No. 3. The station will feature a new intake and superstructure on the south side of Estelle Drainage Pump Station No. 2, with a 2,000 CFS pumping capacity using four 500 CFS diesel-driven vertical pumps. The new building will include two generators, additional diesel storage tanks, office space, control room, electrical room, and a break room. The pumps will discharge into the intercoastal waterway by crossing over the existing T-wall. Supplemental services may include surveying, geotechnical engineering, environmental/permitting, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering. Firms must identify all sub-consultant firms expected to provide professional services and submit a Statement of Qualifications for each sub-consultant. Compensation for services may be on an hourly, fixed fee, or lump sum basis, depending on the type of work and mutual agreement.
