Renovation of an educational facility in Marrero, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for Elevator Replacements at East Jefferson High (Building A) and West Jefferson High Schools, Project No. 2024-34 A 2. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for at least thirty days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities. Plans and specifications and other information can be secured from the architect/engineer, Holly & Smith Architects, for a specified fee per set. Refunds for document deposits will only be made for documents returned complete, in good condition, and unmarked, within ten days after the opening of bids. A pre-bid meeting will be held to allow prospective bidders to review the job scope and site conditions. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked on the envelope cover with the bidder’s name, address, and telephone number; State License Number if the bid exceeds $50,000; and the statement “Proposal for (project name and number).” Bidders may submit bids electronically in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 38:2212 E (1). Participation by minority and female-owned businesses, as well as businesses located in this Parish, is encouraged. The project is classified as General Building Construction or Limited Specialty Services.
