Remodeling of an educational facility in Marrero, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are sought for the Installation of New Walk-In Coolers/Freezer at Multiple Sites, Project No. 2024-35 F. Bids must be received by the Facilities Department for the Jefferson Parish School Board at 4600 River Road, Administration Annex, 1st Floor, Marrero, LA 70072, until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 15, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid may be withdrawn for at least thirty days after the scheduled closing time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Plans and specifications may be obtained from the design consultant, Monyan Consulting, LLC., for a $50.00 deposit per hard copy set or a $25.00 non-refundable fee for an electronic copy on compact disk. The full deposit for one set will be refunded to each General Contractor for documents returned in good, unmarked condition within ten days after bid opening. Additional sets for subcontractors or suppliers will be refunded minus the reproduction cost. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the Administration Annex Building to review job scope and site conditions. Sealed proposals must be marked with the bidder's name, address, telephone number, State License Number (if bid exceeds $50,000), and the statement "Proposal for (project name and number)." Bidders may submit bids electronically at www.centralbidding.com in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 38:2212 E (1). Participation from minority and female-owned businesses, as well as local businesses, is encouraged. The project is classified as General Building Construction or General Construction with a Specialty in Walk-In Coolers/Freezers. Question Deadline 01/08/2026: Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of Bid Documents shall make a written request to the Architect to reach him at least seven (7) days prior to the date and time of receipt of bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
