The project includes construction of two lighted outdoor concrete futsal courts (119' x 102') with a cushion surface, installation of an 8-foot-tall perimeter fence, two ADA-accessible pathways, and two accessible spectator areas. Each spectator area will include a shade structure (approximately 19' x 58' and 15' x 32') and six sport benches. Additional work includes stormwater management facilities, landscape restoration, installation of a trash receptacle, a new bench on a concrete pad, wayfinding signage, and court rules signage. As part of the City's ADA Transition Plan, the project also includes adding companion seating spaces to four existing benches and replacing select benches elsewhere in the park. The City's estimated budget for this project is $1,450,000, to be partially funded by $410,000 from the Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund and $400,000 from the State lottery-funded Local Government Grant Program administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
