Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Hillsboro, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

The project involves providing construction services for the Evergreen Park Playground Improvements. Work includes disposing of the existing playground structure and replacing it with a larger, accessible (ADA), covered, nature themed playground. The new playground will be constructed primarily from natural-looking, manufactured equipment and will offer opportunities for spinning, climbing, swinging, and jumping. The existing playground area is 2,900 square feet, and the updated playground will be close to 5,000 square feet. Weather protection will be provided by overlapping sails covering 3,794 square feet of the playground area. The contractor will also add companion spaces to two benches and replace four benches with ADA-compliant benches around the playground. In addition, one portable potty will be installed with an accompanying enclosure. Work described as "Phase B," which includes an accessible path to a nature playground area in the forest, is not included in this bid. Bidding is open to all suppliers.
