The City of Tulare, California is seeking to retain two or more qualified State-licensed low-voltage contractors (C-7 or C-10 as applicable) for on-call structured cabling installation, maintenance, and repair services at various municipal facilities, including offices, libraries, public safety facilities, and other City-owned properties on an as-needed per task-order basis. The services include the design, installation, termination, testing, repair, relocation, and maintenance of structured cabling systems. Work may involve Category 6, and Category 6A copper cabling, as well as single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic installations. Termination includes patch panels, jacks, and other endpoints, with labeling and documentation according to industry standards. The contractor is also responsible for installation and maintenance of conduits, cable trays, and other structured cable routing infrastructure, troubleshooting and repair of damaged or degraded cabling, and ensuring connectivity and performance. All services must comply with ANSI/TIA/EIA, BICSI standards, manufacturer specifications, California building and safety codes, CAL/OSHA regulations, and the City’s IT security policies. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform services. Interested contractors must be prepared to promptly enter into an Agreement for the services. No work is guaranteed, and the scope and number of projects and task orders may vary over time. Bids must be submitted electronically. Contractors must hold a valid license and have required insurance. Award will be on an all or none basis.
