Description

The work consists of furnishing all labor and equipment necessary to flush all grids and inspect and replace as needed the retainer rings, base plates, and diffusers on the Wastewater Treatment Plant Sequencing Batch Reactors 1 through 6. All work must be completed no later than two years. Bidders are required to register as plan holders to receive addendums or other pertinent information. Bid proposals must be made on the provided proposal form. The City of Tulare reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract in the city's best interest. All work must comply with the construction documents and completion includes inspection and servicing of all SBR Basins as outlined in the contract. The estimated construction cost is $300,000. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for all bidders. Full opportunity to submit bids is afforded to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Minority Business Enterprises, and Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and nondiscrimination requirements will be strictly followed. Inquiries regarding the plans, specifications, or estimate must be in writing by the specified deadline.
