Question Deadline 03/10/2026 Prior to the deadline for submitting questions, Bidders may, in writing/email, request clarification of or changes to any bid specifications or Contract terms EWEB requires bids to install approximately 1150 feet of 8-in water main along Myoak Drive. Bidders must meet Minimum Qualifications for Contractor and specialty sub-contractors as defined in the bid packages. The Minimum Qualifications include that the general contractor must have managed or completed, in the past five years, at least three water pipeline or related projects that included the installation of ductile iron water pipeline in paved streets. The proposed construction superintendent must be currently employed by the qualified General Contractor and must have been the superintendent on at least two water pipeline projects in the last five years, which included the installation of ductile iron water pipeline in paved streets. The qualified construction superintendent is required to be on-site full-time and in responsible charge during all construction activities. Bidders must comply with all BOLI and CCB requirements as outlined by the State of Oregon. The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) requests bids for the installation of approximately 1150 feet of 8-in water main along Myoak Drive. Bidders shall meet Minimum Qualifications for Contractor and specialty sub-contractors, as defined in the bid packages. In summary, these Minimum Qualifications include: General Contractor: a. The general contractor shall have successfully managed/completed, during the past five (5) years, at least (3) water pipeline or related projects that included the installation of ductile iron water pipeline in paved streets. b. The proposed construction superintendent shall be currently employed by the qualified General Contractor and shall have been the construction superintendent on no less than two (2) water pipeline projects during the last five (5) years which included the installation of ductile iron water pipeline in paved streets. The qualified construction superintendent will be required to be on the project site in responsible charge, full-time, during all construction activities. Anticipated Award Date: 04/07/2026
