Pleasant Mill Pond Park Weir Improvements & Chipp-a-Waters Park Bank Stabilization The project includes improvements at the Mill Pond Park Weir over Chippewa River including concrete patching and crack sealing of the deck, abutment walls, piers, and spillway. The project also includes installation of steel sheet piling and field stone riprap slope protection, limited tree removal and clearing for construction. Approach work will include asphalt trail resurfacing and timber railing replacement. The work is located on an island and approval has been obtained to ford the river during construction with clean timber crane mats or similar. The project also includes bank stabilization at the Chipp-a-Waters site with the installation of heavy riprap. Limited clearing is required within the limits of proposed riprap armoring. Asphalt trail repair and turf restoration will be required to repair route from staging site to project site after completion of construction. The City of Mt. Pleasant reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Mt. Pleasant.
