Completion Date: May 30, 2026 The Site includes a split-level dwelling and two metal storage sheds (sheds approximately 10' by 12'), The dwelling includes a private well, septic system, and is serviced by natural gas. The Site includes an asphalt driveway which extends east from Lofton Avenue. The buildings are currently vacant and owned by Chisago County (County). General Abatement and Demolition Project Summary o Securing/obtaining all permits (City, County, MPCA, MDH, etc.) required for demolition of the buildings. o Demolishing and removing all buildings, structures, foundations, footings, concrete support slabs, asphalt driveway, concrete patio slabs, garden framework and fencing. o Prior to demolition, removing the identified asbestos and hazardous materials as specified in WSB's Asbestos and Regulated Materials Assessment Report (see Attachment 1). o Disconnecting all utilities including electricity, communications, and natural gas. (see "CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS AND DEMOLITION PROCEDURES - Demolition and Site Clearance") in accordance with local and state requirements. o Removing one fuel oil aboveground storge tank (AST) located in the crawl space of the dwelling. The AST is approximately 275-gallons in size and contains 1-1.5 inches of fuel oil. o Pumping and removing septic tank (assume 1,250-gallon tank). One septic system is located on the north side of the dwelling. o Removing miscellaneous solid waste (if present) from within the buildings and exterior areas. o Removing shrubs and trees damaged to facilitate demolition activities. o Backfilling building footprint areas with clean material, finish grading, applying 4- inches of topsoil to disturbance areas, hydro seeding, and implementation of erosion/sediment controls. o Submitting all notifications, permits, waste removal, disposal/recycling, backfill/topsoil import, seeding, and restoration documentation to WSB's Project Manager. o Sealing of one water well by a Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) certified contractor (assume one 2 inch well, 180 feet deep). The licensed well contractor will seal the well in accordance with all local and state requirements. Once the well has been sealed, the contractor will remove or cut off the casting at least 3 feet below the established ground surface.
