Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lancaster, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and sidewalk / parking lot.
2026 Water Main Upgrades: installing 2,400 LF of 8-inch water main on Chace Hill Road, 200 LF of 6-inch water main and 670 LF of 8-inch water main on Seven Bridges Road, 2,100 LF of 12-inch water main on Neck Road including a railroad crossing, 350 LF of 8-inch water main on Harvard Road between Neck Road and Seven Bridge Road, 2,050 LF of 8-inch water main and 1,300 LF of 6-inch main on Ponakin Road, and 1,700 LF of 8-inch water main on Schumacher Road. Water main pipe shall be ductile iron pipe, installed with hydrants, services, and appurtenances. New pipe to be laid while existing water main is active, temporary bypass not anticipated. The project will also consist of the replacement of existing culverts Chace Hill Rd and Harvard Road if deemed necessary during construction, the relocation of one catch basin and the installation of one drain manhole. The owner reserves the right to eliminate certain sections of the work or parts of sections, as may be determined by them as a basis of award, to keep within the limits of available funds, or to add sections of the work previously eliminated. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
