Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rome, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Demolition of the three existing institutional boiler exhaust stacks, including abatement of known and unknown asbestos and other potentially hazardous materials. Construction and installation of three new replacement exhaust stacks with a supporting structural steel tower and foundation. Work includes structural steel fabrication requiring third-party New York State special inspection during construction. Services must be performed by a general contractor experienced in demolition and construction/installation of institutional boiler exhaust stacks and structural steel tower systems.
