ROME CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT invites bids for Electrical Work (EC) for the "2024 Capital Improvement Project - Phase 2" at Clough Intermediate School in Rome, New York. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the title of the Work to which the bid relates. Each Bidder must deposit with its bid a security amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as specified. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. The Owner also reserves the right to disqualify Bidders for failure to comply with the Instructions to Bidders and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. Bidding Documents are available for a deposit and may be picked up or delivered through Syracuse Blueprint Company. Electronic versions are available for a non-refundable fee. Plans and specs are also available at several plan rooms. All questions about the plans, specifications, or contract documents must be submitted in writing to LaBella Associates and C&S Companies. There will be a Pre-Bid Walk-Through at Clough School, and additional requirements include the Owner's sales tax exemption, employment conditions, and minimum wage rates. Bidders must meet detailed qualification requirements in the Bidding Documents, including bonding, insurance, financial statements, references, legal proceedings, and similar project experience.
