Renovation of an educational facility in Rome, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 42,511-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
ROME CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT invites bids for the General Trades contract for the 2024 Capital Improvement Project - Phase 2, located at Clough Intermediate School in Rome, New York. The project consists of capital improvements at this location. Bidders are required to submit a proposal accompanied by a certified check or other security as outlined in the plans and specifications. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the Bidder and the title of the Work. Each bid must include security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bidders should adhere to all requirements regarding the owner's sales tax exemption, employment conditions, minimum wage rates, and detailed qualification requirements, including bonding, insurance, financial statements, bank references, litigation history, statement of surety's intent to issue bonds, and descriptions of similar completed projects. Questions regarding the documents must be submitted in writing. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids and may disqualify Bidders for material non-compliance with the instructions. All RFI’s must be received no later than April 5, 2026, at 3:00PM.
