Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Horse Cave, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 288-square-foot water / sewer project.
Contract 5 consists of the construction of a 24'x12' split-faced block pump station, installation of two (2) 50-Hp multistage pumps, VFD's, pump control panel, and necessary piping and appurtenances for a complete and fully operable water booster pump station. The contract must be completed within 180 calendar days after the date of authorization to start work. Bidders are required to provide a Bid Bond of at least five percent of the base bid and, if awarded the contract, must execute a 100% Performance Bond, a 100% Payment Bond, and furnish required insurance. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days. The Water District reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities, and may request a list of references. Bidders must have experience with similar projects. Small, minority, women's owned businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to bid. Question Deadline 03/13/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
