Sealed bids are requested for asbestos abatement at Former St. Joe's High School, 10900 West Cermak Road, Westchester, Illinois 60154, Project No. T255053. Bidders must pay prevailing wage rates as required by Illinois law. The owner retains the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, or accept the bid deemed in its best interest. The owner may set aside a bid from a contractor who does not demonstrate past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit to review the scope of work and determine site conditions. Bidding documents are available to IDPH licensed asbestos abatement contractors, and interested bidders are requested to prepare to review the scope and site conditions during the pre-bid meeting. This may be the only opportunity to view and investigate work site conditions prior to bid submission.
