Demolition for a library in Parma Heights, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a library.
Library Building Demolition, in accordance with Ordinance 2026-09. All bidders must register with Bid Express to submit a bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of 10% of the bid or a 100% Bid Bond, payable to the City, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and a Performance Bond satisfactory to the municipality in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid will be furnished. The deposit of the successful bidder will be retained until the Contract is properly executed and delivered. Deposits of all unsuccessful bidders will be returned following the award. The City reserves the right to accept all or any part of any bid and to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received, and to accept any bid, or combination of bids, which it deems lowest and best. Bidders shall be a planholder of record with the City for their bid to be considered. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Cuyahoga County and the City as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost for Construction for Library Bldg Demolition is $313,426. Question Deadline 03/16/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
