Sealed Proposals will be received for the following work at the Highland County Airport in Hillsboro, Ohio: Construct New T-Hangars. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms contained in the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accompanied by either a combined "Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond" for 100 percent of the bid, or by a certified check, or a cashier's check issued from a solvent bank in the amount of 10 percent of the bid. If a check is submitted, a separate Contract Bond for 100 percent of the amount of the contract, with a satisfactory surety or sureties, will then be required from the successful bidder for the faithful performance of the work. The proposed project consists of the following work: Section A - Sitework, including placing temporary airfield controls, earthwork, pavement removal, installing storm edge drains and structures, installing aggregate storm drain, full depth asphalt paving, pavement marking, topsoiling, seeding, mulching, and other incidentals; Section A Addition - T-Hangar Floor and Foundation Construction, including T-hangar reinforced concrete foundation and floor, and other incidentals; Section B - Hangar Construction, including placing temporary airfield controls, T-hangar construction, and other incidentals; and Section C - Hangar Electrical Construction, including placing temporary airfield controls, electrical wiring, electrical hardware, and other incidentals. Bidders must submit a bid for Section A in order to bid on the Section A Addition. Bidders are not required to submit a bid for all sections.
