Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Menifee, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of widening from Oakhurst Avenue/Hospital Way to Junipero Road. The widening will be from the existing 2-lane road to a 4-lane corridor with curb, gutter, sidewalk new pavement section, traffic signal modification, Striping, ADA ramps along with K-railing and AC berm. This project will also include 48" Storm Drain with a rip-rap and a headwall. The work to be constructed is located on the north-east quadrant of the city. This project is east of the 215 freeway along McCall Blvd. The major crossroads are Oakhurst Avenue/Hospital Way and McCall Blvd. Estimated construction cost: $6,700,000.00 This is a 60 working day contract. A hard copy of the entire bid package including all original notarized documents must be received within 24 hours of the submittal deadline to be consider responsive to this NIB. If using Federal Express or other such service for bid submittal, the contents of the submittal must be noted on the outside of that envelope as stated Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the City of Menifee, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds acceptable to the Agency. Type of Award Lump Sum License Requirements "Class A" Bid Valid $6,700,000.00 Liquidated Damages $2,000 for each consecutive calendar day Start/Delivery Date May 2026 Project Duration 60 working day contract Question Deadline 03/23/2026 at 3:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes Protection of all existing structures and improvements which fall within or are adjacent to the limits of work specified under this Contract in accordance with Sections 7-9 and 200-1 of the Standard Specifications. o Removal and salvage/disposal of miscellaneous items such as utility boxes and covers, street signs, posts, poles, interfering portions of water, sewer and storm drainpipes, fences, mailboxes and retaining walls. o Installation, maintenance, and removal of fences, temporary fences, and gates as required in these Special Provisions and/or for the contractor's convenience. o Removal and disposal of any additional items not specifically mentioned which may be found within the work limits as directed by the Engineer. o Removal and disposal of existing asphalt concrete and base, AC dikes and berms (all types), sidewalk, curb ramps / pedestrian ramps, lined ditches, curb and gutter, curb inlets and outlets, median curbs and paving and mow curbs which may be found within the work limits as directed by the Engineer and which are not designated as separate bid items, or which are not included in other bid items. o Adjustment to grade of miscellaneous items such as utility boxes, valves, manholes, pull boxes, well monuments, posts, and poles, which are not designated as separate bid items, or which are not included in other bid items. o The protection of or replacement in-kind of landscaping impacted by construction of the proposed improvements. o Remove existing ac & base (include asphalt saw cutting & concrete saw cutting) o Remove existing ac pavement, base and/or native soil to a depth of 16" and existing remaining soil shall be rolled, firm and unyielding prior to placing ac o Remove existing native soil to a depth of 8" and existing remaining sub base shall be rolled, firm and unyielding prior to placing ac o Remove existing pcc pavement and native soil to a depth of 6" and existing remaining sub base shall be rolled, firm and unyielding prior to placing pcc o Remove and dispose of concrete sidewalk and native soil. (include asphalt cutting & concrete cutting) o Remove and dispose of concrete sidewalk and native soil. (include asphalt cutting & concrete cutting) o Remove and dispose of concrete driveway & driveway apron. (include asphalt cutting & concrete cutting) o Sawcut and remove existing pcc curb o Sawcut and remove existing ac curb o Remove and dispose of concrete curb return from bc to ec (this includes ada ramp, sidewalk, curb, gutter) include concrete saw cutting o Sawcut and remove existing curb ramp (removal and repalcement of ramp shall be from bcr to ecr). o Remove and dispose of concrete spandrel, include concrete saw cutting o Remove and dispose of concrete curb & gutter. (include asphalt cutting & concrete cutting) o Remove and relocate existing o Remove and relocate existing by others o Remove existing (item per plan) o Remove and reinstall existing signs per city's direction o Remove and reinstall (item per plan) o Remove existing orchard trees encroaching into right of way. o Remove and relocate bo per b-568. o Remove and relocate av/ar per b-598. o Remove and relocate existing gas line by others.
