The City of Menifee invites consulting firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications to be considered for the short list of prequalified firms to provide On-Call General Planning& Building Plan Review, CEQA Preparation, Landscape Review, Permit Technician, and Inspection Services in support of the Planning and Building & Safety Divisions under the Community Development Department. The Planning Division provides development review services to residential and commercial property owners, and is responsible for conducting environmental reviews, implementing the City’s General Plan and Development Code, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state and regional regulations. The Building & Safety Division ensures the health and welfare of the residents of Menifee by regulating the construction, use, and occupancy of buildings, as well as ensuring that the standards set by the building codes for construction are met through the process of plan review, permit issuance, and on-site inspections. The City reserves the right to prequalify any number of firms. Due to the as-needed nature of the work, no work is guaranteed regardless of selection. The scope of work will vary and will be requested on a task order basis as the need arises. The City of Menifee is a General Law City and as such, some projects and services may be subject to competitive proposals from the selected short list of consultants throughout the term of this RFQ. The City of Menifee at its own discretion, and in compliance with the funding source(s) requirement(s), will either select consultants from the short list or publish a project specific RFQ/RFQ open to all.
