Correction of steam line deficiencies at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Menlo Park Department, including repair of leaking portions of the steam distribution and condensate return systems within ten identified steam vaults, replacement of all associated steam and condensate equipment, components, and hardware, draining of flooded vaults, and provision of temporary propane domestic hot water heaters to eight buildings during shutdowns. Work also includes inspection of the entire steam distribution and condensate return systems using professional manhole and robotic inspection cameras during scheduled shutdowns, with delivery of high-resolution video files and a detailed deficiency report. The contractor shall update the campus steam and condensate site plan, stamped by a licensed mechanical Professional Engineer in the state of California. All labor, materials, tools, equipment, testing, and supervision necessary to complete repairs, inspections, and engineering updates shall be provided in full compliance with project requirements, with all work performed within a 120-day period of performance ending no later than September 30, 2026.
