The work includes the following approximate quantities: 270 linear feet of curb and gutter removal, 4,700 square feet of concrete walk removal, 560 square feet of bituminous pavement removal, 4,240 square feet of 4-inch concrete walk, 520 square feet of 6-inch concrete walk, 90 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter (Design B618), 180 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter (Design B624), and 200 square feet of truncated domes. All work under the contract must be completed by the dates specified in the project specifications. Bids will only be accepted if submitted electronically through BidVAULT by contractors who are listed as plan holders on the city's OneOffice site. A bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid amount is required. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the contract in the best interests of the city. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against.
