The District is seeking the removal and replacement of the HVAC boiler system at Paris Ridge Elementary School, 4690 Paris Ridge Drive, Caledonia MI 49316. The scope includes all engineering, design, state submission, disposal, acquisition, installation, and repairs/patching of the facility to provide a fully tested, approved, and functioning system prior to October 1, 2026. Contracting or subcontracting as needed for any area, including electrical, should be included or specifically noted as not included. Controls and control work for connection and programming will be supplied by the owner and are to be scheduled for installation with the boilers and system. All equipment, parts, and supplies must include at least the standard manufacturer's warranty in writing beginning at the system turnover-to-owner date. Any alternates proposed to this may be submitted on separate sheets. All potential rebate submissions are to be completed by the installer; the beneficiary of rebates will be Caledonia Community Schools. All work is to be completed in a professional manner, in accordance with laws regarding presence on school grounds, and daily cleanup and cleaning of the work area are required. Work to be completed includes, but is not limited to: - Boiler permit - Removal of two existing HTP Boilers - Installation of two new boilers (Lochinvar FTX850N or Aerco equivalent) - PVC venting to the outside (2 - 6" PVC vent lines / 2 - 4" PVC intake lines, both through the existing piping) - Condensate neutralizer and drain piping - Required re-piping (re-pipe for new boilers, installation of isolation valves, check valves, pressure and temperature gauges, two new boiler pumps--Lochinvar PUM20078K or similar, installation of a mag cleaner--Adey FL1-03-02990, pipe insulation and repair, gas piping as required) - Start up and rule 27 / CSD-1 - Required electrical work to meet code - Required control work (CSI is the required controls contractor; graphics and control updates as required) - Testing, balancing, and commissioning of the installation and system.
