Electronic bids are requested for the Wells Quad - Brick Walkway Repair project at the Indiana University Bloomington Campus. A unified bid is required for all work, including General, Mechanical, and Electrical Construction. Bidders must submit their proposals electronically and be registered on the specified plan room website. Each bid must include a completed Minority, Women's and Veteran's Business Enterprise Participation Plan, a bid security for 5% of the total bid, and the contractor's written drug testing program in compliance with state code. Bids not containing the required documentation may be considered incomplete. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive irregularities in bidding. The base bid may be held for up to sixty days, with alternate bids held for up to ninety days before contract award or change directive. If a successful bidder withdraws or fails to execute a satisfactory contract within 10 days after notice of acceptance, the bid security may be forfeited as liquidated damages.
