Bids for the construction of the 2026 Street Overlay Project will be received electronically through the online electronic bid service QuestCDN. Principal components of the project include: sawing concrete pavement (full depth) 517 linear feet, sawing bituminous pavement (full depth) 1829 linear feet, milling bituminous pavement (special) 34,472 square yards, Type SP 9.5 wearing course mixture (3;B) 4,361 tons, adjusting valve box - water 80 each, adjusting frame and ring casting 59 each, concrete walk 1,731 square feet, concrete curb and gutter 436 linear feet, traffic control 1 lump sum, storm drain inlet protection 26 each, site restoration 325 square yards, solid line multi-component 405 linear feet, and crosswalk multi-component 900 square feet. Bids will only be received and accepted via QuestCDN. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, cash deposit, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the City. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents Question Deadline 03/26/2026
