The Town of Winthrop (Owner) is requesting Bids for the Bridge St. Sidewalk Improvements project. A construction start date for a Notice to Proceed will be determined within thirty (30) days of award to allow completion of the work in 2026 during appropriate conditions. The improvements for which bids will be received are generally described below: Approximately 500 lineal feet of cement concrete traffic curb and gutter Approximately 500 lineal feet of cement concrete traffic curb Approximately 450 square yards of cement concrete sidewalk Cement concrete ADA ramps and driveway approaches Approximately 300 SY of HMA patching Stormwater improvements, including treatment basin Rock stacked retaining wall and other misc. items Question Deadline 03/20/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing no later than 5 days prior to the bid opening date to allow for questions to be answered in the form of an Addenda Bidders are required to submit bids electronically via the Varela Plan Room website and in accordance with the provided Instructions to Bidders. Additional bid acceptance and contract award provisions are specified in the contract documents. The project encourages participation from disadvantaged business enterprises, women, and minority-owned businesses. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
