Project Worktag 71063 FD428 | CC2590 CIP [ Construction ] The City of Pomona (the "City") is soliciting bids from firms for [Construction] Civic Center Plaza - New Playground and Amenities [Tile Rehabilitation] The work to be done consists of installation of the new City-furnished tiles and concrete bands, furnishing all equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required in the specifications and contract documents located in Documents and Attachments tab. The Contractor shall provide for removal and replacement of the broken tiles and concrete bands, and all other work per the contract documents and specifications. The contractor shall provide all labor and administrative, equipment and all other materials, including, but not limited to, mortar, grout, adhesives, and cleaning supplies, resources necessary to perform the specific work. City will furnish all the tiles for the contractor's installation. Contractor shall pick up the tiles at City Facilities yard. All work from inception through closeout and all work is subject to prevailing wage requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by cash or by a cashier's or certified check or by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of bid price payable to the City of Pomona as a guarantee that the bidder, if their bid is accepted, shall promptly execute the contract, secure payment of workman's compensation insurance and furnish all required bonds, as identified herein. If submitting cash, cashier's or certified check, it must be delivered to Public Works before the close of the bid.
