The Scope of Work consists of the replacement of concrete pavement, sidewalk, and other incidental items within the City of Richmond Heights. 1. 4" Aggregate base is considered incidental to construction for pavement, driveways and sidewalk. 2. 6" vertical curb for pavement and ADA ramps are considered incidental to pay item. Work shall be completed within 90 days. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract according to rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. The City of Richmond Heights is a tax exempt entity and a project exemption certificate will be supplied to the successful bidder. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. The City shall award any contract based on the proposal that, in its sole discretion, best meets the interests and requirements of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities or deficiencies, to negotiate for more favorable terms or prices, and/or to award the contract to other than the lowest cost proposal, with or without negotiation.
