Sealed bids are solicited for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and all else necessary for the 2026 Pavement Marking Project (CP 268016). Major items include approximately: 699,655 linear feet of 6" solid line paint, 132,371 linear feet of 6" solid line multi-comp, 48,956 linear feet of 6" solid line multi-comp ground in (white reflective), 2,046 square feet of crosswalk multi-comp, 4,426 square feet of crosswalk preformed thermo, and 11,455 square feet of pavement marking removal. All plans, proposal, and addendum documents are available electronically. Only registered planholders are allowed to bid; registration is free and requires creating an account online. Bids must be submitted electronically using BidVault, and instructions are found in the Carver County Guide to Bidding. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming Carver County as oblige, certified check payable to the Carver County Treasurer, or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent of the bid amount, which is forfeited if the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The County reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for up to sixty days after bid opening. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after bid opening. The County Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and award the contract in the best interests of the County. Minimum wage rates are predetermined and subject to federal regulations. Bidders must submit an electronic bid on BidVault and, in addition, acknowledge and digitally sign all bid submittal documents through BidVault prior to bid opening.
