Site work for a mixed-use development in Port Huron, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and educational facility.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for approximately 4000 syd of pavement/sidewalk removal, 3500 syd of aggregate base, 2100 tons of hot mix asphalt, 2000 sq ft of concrete sidewalk, 360 syd of concrete driveway/pavement, traffic control pavement markings, permanent traffic signage, lawn restoration, and other incidental items related thereto. Question Deadline 03/25/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Proposals must be sealed and labeled "Parking Lot Improvements." Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Bids received after the specified date and time will not be considered. All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders must obtain Contract Documents, including Construction Drawings, Instruction to Bidders, Proposal Forms, Contract Form, Bond Forms, and Contract Specifications, and register as a plan holder on the State of Michigan Sigma Vendor Self Service website to have their bids accepted. Each proposal must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or standard form bid bond, made payable to the Port Huron Area School District in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid submitted. The winning bidder must furnish performance and labor & material payment bonds, the cost of which should be included in the project bid. All proposals must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Port Huron Area School District Board or the Superintendent of the School District. The bidder must also certify that it is not an Iran linked business and will comply with the district's criminal background check requirements. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in bids, to reject any and/or all bids, in whole or in part, or to award any Contract to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in the Owner's best interest to do so. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after receipt. All bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms provided by the Engineer.
