Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Port Huron, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,200-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project involves providing all labor, materials, and equipment required for the site preparation and construction of four 20' x 40' outdoor wood pavilions, one each at Thomas Edison Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Elementary, and Cleveland Elementary. The work includes clearing existing surface material, earthwork, excavation, construction of concrete foundations and floor slabs, precast concrete column bases with steel brackets, installation of glued laminated structural wood members, conventional engineered wood trusses supporting a metal roof system, composite vinyl siding on gable ends, perforated metal soffits on roof overhangs, and a metal panel ceiling system. The project also includes connecting sidewalks to existing paved surfaces and relocating a private utility pole with an area light fixture at one location. No other electrical work is required. All work must be completed in accordance with the contract documents and by the specified dates. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed proposals by the deadline on the provided forms, accompanied by a bid security of not less than 5% of the base bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds. All required taxes, cost breakdowns, and documentation must be included. Bidders are encouraged to use local subcontractors, must submit written evidence of qualifications, and must examine the site prior to bidding. All bids must include notarized disclosures of familial relationships and compliance with Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject any or all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after receipt.
