Renovation of an educational facility in Port Huron, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Port Huron Area School District will accept sealed proposals for the Garfield Elementary Reroof project located at 1221 Garfield St., Port Huron, MI 48060. Proposals must be submitted to the Administrative Offices of the Port Huron Area School District, 2720 Riverside Drive, Port Huron, Michigan 48060, Attention: Kate Peternel, Chief Financial Officer. Label the outside of the envelopes with Garfield Reroof. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. The District will not consider or accept a bid received after the specified date and time. All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. 1. Remove existing ballast and EPDM membrane and dispose of in a legal manner. 2. Remove and dispose of any existing wet ISO insulation and replace as needed. 3. Remove and dispose of existing edge metal. 4. Install one layer of 1/2 inch fanfold. 5. Mechanically attach 50 mil Duro-Last prefab system or DLX to the entire roof area. 6. Install two-way vents per manufacturer's specifications. 7. Properly flash and seal all roof penetrations per manufacturer specifications detail. 8. Install proper drain flashing and dome strainers per manufacturer specifications. 9. Install two piece compression metal to the roof perimeter. Material is to be 24 ga with a kynar paint finish 10. Complete clean up and disposal of all job-related debris. 11. Provide a 20yr NDL manufacturers warranty covering 100% of materials and labor. 12. Work must be performed between June 15th and August 15th
