Generator Replacement Services in Hawaii Question Deadline 06/12/2026 at 9:00 AM HT Questions may be submitted in writing to the Contracts Unit email only at CDFA.Contracts@cdfa.ca.gov. The Contractor agrees to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to provide replacement generator services at Pest Detection/Emergency Projects The Contractor Shall: The contractor shall be solely responsible for the removal, hauling, and proper disposal of all materials, debris, equipment, and waste generated as a result of this project. Upon completion of work, the project site shall be left clean and orderly, free of debris and hazards. 1. Disconnect, drain, and dispose of various mechanical liquids from current Caterpillar Model 3306 250 kW Standby Generator in preparation of decommission. 2. Remove current Caterpillar Model 3306 250 kW Standby Generator with a crane and along with other materials properly dispose of in accordance with current guidelines. 3. Prepare existing foundation for the installation of the new *CAT Generator Set Model C9 (specs listed below) while being secured, leveled and aligned on current pad. 4. Furnish and install fuel, exhaust, and cooling systems for the new generator along with mechanical accessories needed for noise minimization and proper mechanical function upon manufacturer requirements. 5. Test functionality and operational usage of new generator by doing pre-start inspections and checks. 6. Ensure that the Automatic Transfer Switch and other mechanisms are functioning and properly transferring electricity generated by the newly installed CAT Generator Set Model C9 to the HFFRF for operational needs. 7. Provide manufacturer documentation and instruct the HFFRF staff on guidelines for proper usage after completion of installation.
