This project includes interior extension of existing hydroexcavator bay to accommodate size of new hydroexcavator models. Renovation involves removal of existing retaining wall, interior excavation, and addition of new retaining wall. Renovation also includes seismic retrofit and new overhead and man doors. Minor electrical additions include exterior lighting, power for overhead door, and relocation of main breaker panel. Project also includes reroof with heated gutter system to existing stormwater infrastructure. Bidders must obtain bid documents from the specified online portal and submit bids on the designated forms. Each bid must be accompanied by a cash deposit, certified or cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price, as a guarantee to enter into a contract and provide required bonds and insurance certificates if awarded. Bid security will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to comply. The successful bidder must furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to one hundred percent of the contract price, and comply with prevailing wage laws and registration requirements for public works projects. Bidders must be licensed as a Class B - General Building Contractor at the time of bid submission and throughout the contract.
