Renovation of an educational facility in Pembroke, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of 5/8/2026, due to the concerns with the schedule, the owner has decided to postpone the project to a later date. No contract was awarded for this project. Chavis Building 2nd Floor HVAC Renovation at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Sealed proposals are required. Electronic plans and specifications can be obtained from Engineered Designs PLLC via email request. The State reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. This project involves the removal and replacement of two air-handling units (AHUs) serving the second floor. The work includes replacing the existing fan-powered terminal units with single duct terminal units, new ductwork, new piping, associated HVAC controls, and power connections to the new equipment. Bids will be received for Single Prime Contractor. All proposals shall be lump sum. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities ***NOTE: We wanted you to be aware that we recently learned from manufacturer that owner pre-purchased air-handling units (AHU-6 and AHU-7) that were previously set to ship the week of June 22, 2026, has now been updated to be shipped the week of July 2, 2026. This is the most recent information that we have received to date.***
